Offering individually designed programs for guests to enhance mind, body and spirit, COMO Shambhala has yoga and pilates instructors, an Ayurvedic doctor, a dietician and an acupuncturist. Outdoor activities that can be arranged from the resort include trekking, biking, rafting, canyoning and cultural tours. At the retreat they can create a tailormade programme for you ideal for kick-starting a whole new you. Other facilities are: Tennis Court, Sauna, Fitness Center, Spa, Bicycle Rental. An airport shuttle service is available for a charge.
Rooms & Suites:
Scattered among the jungle clearings above the Ayung River are 22 suites and rooms grouped together in five architecturally distinctive Residences, each with its own infinity pool, a large airy living-dining pavilion, and a personal butler to fulfil your every need. The terraces overlook tropical gardens or misty paddy fields.
Each room has wood furniture set against a backdrop of greenery. Guests can relax in the outdoor terrace, which has either a sitting area or daybed. The bathroom is semi-outdoors.
Dining:
Healthy eating is a very important part of a stay at The Estate and as you’d expect, the food is organic and locally sourced; raw fruits and veggies are a must (but meat and fish also feature); exotic fresh juices abound; wheat-free breads tastier than they sound. Western and European cuisine can be enjoyed at Glow Restaurant, and Asian dishes are featured at Kudus Restaurant. Room service is available for guests’ convenience.

Our Opinion: This hotel is absolutely stunning! Customer service is great and the setting is gorgeous. A perfect combination of relaxation and sufficient activities to allow you to ease into a different state. Spa treatments are wonderful and the personal assistants at the ready to coordinate every element of your stay.
