The Four Seasons Resort offers an 18-hole complimentary golf course designed by Ernie Els, an infinity edge, free-form and 28m lap pool, two tennis courts and a fully equipped gym. Classes include spinning, circuit training and aerobics. There is an extensive list of water sports ranging from paddle boarding and scuba diving to glass-bottomed boat excursions. If all that sounds a little too energetic, lose yourself in the hotel library, lie back on a beachside hammock or head to the spa. The pampering menu is impressive with a wide range of head to toe treatments. The spa features 12 treatment pavilions, set on stilts over the lagoon and a toga pavilion and a choice of wellness classes. Other activities that can be arranged by the resort include horse riding, go-karting, archery, jungle trekking, hiking, scuba diving, small and big game fishing, kite surfing, parasailing, zip lining, glass bottom boat, deluxe catamaran cruises and helicopter tours. Kids For All Seasons’ is the excellent child care facility available to younger guests aged between 4 and 12 years of age. The Hobbit Kids’ Club Village for older kids includes its own swimming/paddling pool, amphitheatre, bakery, quiet room, film-viewing area, playground and playroom, all supervised by friendly and dedicated Kids’ Club staff.

Our Opinion: From the initial welcome, nothing could be too much trouble for the staff at this Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita hotel. If you are travelling with children, for example, you will be pushed to find a hotel that is more helpful.
