Hidden away on a lushly manicured 35 acres on Paradise Island in The Bahamas, the One&Only Ocean Club, nestled on the finest stretch of soft, white sandy beaches—between the clear azure sky and the warm turquoise seas, surrounded by green grounds studded with fuschia-colored hibiscus, bougainvillea, and towering coconut palms. Located directly on Cabbage Beach in the east of Paradise Island. The city of Nassau is about 3 km. Driving time / distance to the airport: approx. 40 minutes / 25 km.

Facilities & Activities:
Starting with the enormous garden, which was modeled on the gardens of Versailles, the world-renowned luxury resort is distinguished by its exclusivity. The complex was built in colonial style and combines timeless elegance with first-class service to create a special holiday experience. The hotel was also known by the James Bond film “Casino Royal”. There are 2 swimming pools, the Versailles pool (14 years and older) and the pool for families (sunbeds, umbrellas and beach towels included). The hotel offers 4 restazrants and 2 bars (“Lobby Lounge” and “The Library”), a small library, professional concierge services and free Wi-Fi throughout the resort area round off the high-quality offer of this top-class hotel. The One&Only Ocean Club features a world-class facility that has golf, tennis, spa, and water-sports fitness facilities. One&Only’s offers a beachfront infinity-edge pool,  The 18-hole, par-72 golf course, designed by former pro golfer Tom Weiskopf, stretches over 7,100 yards and affords panoramic views of the surrounding Atlantic Ocean, while six tennis courts, four of which are lit for nighttime play, let you work on your backhand in style. Other activities that may be performed at The One&Only are diving, snorkeling and fishing.

Rooms & Suites:
Garden View Rooms: Set overlooking the lush resort gardens in the iconic Hartford Wing, the spacious new Garden View rooms are designed with every creature comfort. A plush sleeper sofa and modern conveniences highlight the space, and completely remodeled bathrooms include a separate bath and rain shower, along with double vanities. The Gardenview rooms (about 42 square meters) offer bathroom with shower, WC, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, satellite TV with DVD player, iPod docking station, CD player, telephone, Internet access (WiFi included), air conditioning, fan, mini bar (fee), safe and balcony with garden view, 24 hour butler service.
The identical oceanview rooms (about 33 sqm) also offer sea views. The Luxury Beachfront rooms (about 51 square meters) have a seating area as well as a larger balcony and are located directly on the beach. Located in the resort’s elegant Hartford Wing, the comfortable Oceanview Suites (about 102 sqm) have an elegant living area with balcony / terrace and sea view or directly on the beach. The Luxury Beachfront Suites are located directly on the beach and are even more high-quality equipped.

Dining:
The hotel has 4 restaurants, including the excellent “Dune” with French-Asian cuisine and views of the Caribbean Sea offers gurmet dishes from the culinary mastery of internationally renowned Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Overlooking the 9th and 18th holes of the Ocean Club Golf Course, the Clubhouse is an inviting oasis to enjoy an easy breakfast or a light lunch, either indoors or outside on the scenic patio. The Pool Terrace Café at One&Only Ocean Club is the perfect spot to relax poolside in a casual atmosphere. Located in One&Only Ocean Club’s stately reception hall, The Library serves coffee and tea in the morning, and a fine collection of cocktails, single malts, fine vintage wines and champagnes into the evening.
