The Aman Hotel Tokyo

The Aman Hotel Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan

The architecture of the Aman Hotel Toky itself is one of the most visually striking in the entire city. Built above the Otemachi Tower on floors 33 to 38, the Aman has the height one wants from a stay in this densely-packed metropolis. With glass windows at every turn, the hotel capitalizes on its unobstructed Mt. Fuji view. The lobby’s 90-foot atrium resembles a paper lantern thanks to a tower of shoji screens diffusing light.
Aman Tokyo Hotel is centrally located in Tokyo and easily reached from both International Airports Narita and Haneda. The Aman Tokyo is on the doorstep of the verdant Imperial Palace Gardens and just steps from the bustle and boutiques of Ginza. The historic commercial hub of the Edo period, Nihonbashi, is also nearby.

Facilities & Activities:
Aman Spa, is the most comprehensive hotel spa in Tokyo, covering 2500 square metres on two storeys, offering breathtaking views of Tokyo. Facilities include eight spa suites, 24-hour fitness centre, 30-metre swimming pool, Japanese baths, steam rooms and Yoga and Pilates studio. The healing traditions of Japan, from Kampo herbal therapy to Zen philosophy and meditation, understand that nature and balance are key to maintaining good health. Aman Spa draws upon these traditions to provide a unique integrated approach to wellness, combining spa treatments, movement and relaxation. They use natural products, both their own range of chemical-free Aman Spa products and Kampo herbs, for total authenticity.  The Aman Hotel also offers room service, turndown service, laundry service, WiFi Internet, in-room safe, in-room massage

Rooms & Suites:
The 84 rooms and suites are infused with warmth from blond wood floors, platform beds and shoji screens. At 764-square-feet, the Deluxe Rooms are very spacious, and a bonus especially in the city that invented the capsule hotel. The bathrooms come with a furo, a deep soaking tub intrinsic to the Japanese ritual of bathing. The best feature of each room is the view, whether of majestic Mt. Fuji, the towering Tokyo Skytree or a panoramic of the skyline.

Dining:
The Café by Aman will specialize in Mediterranean-inspired fare featuring the hotel’s own signature sake, and will offer lunch and dinner with outdoor forest view seating.
The Lounge by Aman is a convivial venue for a drink or snack throughout the day and into the night. The Restaurant by Aman will serve gastronomic fine dining based on Mediterranean cuisine including a selection of Japanese and Asian inspired dishes. In addition, the hotel houses an impressive glass fronted walk-in wine cellar. Working with exclusive winemakers from around the world, as well as one of Japan’s most revered sake masters, the cellar is stocked with over 1,200 carefully selected wines.
