Le Taha’a Island Resort & Spa is an elegant resort located thirty minutes by boat from the island of Raiatea (French Polynesia). This luxury hotel is situated on a small, private islet with spectacular views of Taha’a and Bora Bora and easy access to an extraordinary coral garden. The resort, inspired by traditional Polynesian architecture and style, hosts 57 remarkable suites and villas.

Facilities & Activities:
The Owners’ wish was to keep the resort as natural and as green as possible. The whole resort was built around the existing vegetation. You will discover beautiful old trees, colorful flowers and plants, something quite unusual on a “motu”, thanks to the use of seaweed as fertilizers. Refreshing fun guarantee the outdoor pool. The building extends two stories and features a wooden staircase leading to the resort’s main bar and two restaurants. Sun loungers and umbrellas are also availabler at the pool and on the beach. Different sports activities, such as Tennis, beach volleyball, fishing and a variety of water sports like windsurfing, pedal boating, canoeing, kayaking, snorkeling, diving, waterskiing and jet skiing are available (some for a fee). Fitness studio and table tennis are part of the sports and leisure facilities Guests can relax with a treatment in the recreation spa area.

Rooms & Suites:
All of the 45 overwater suites, 10 one-bedroom Beach Villas and 2 two-bedroom Royal Beach Villas are built in the pure Polynesian tradition, exquisitely blending thatched pandanus roofs, bamboo, exotic woods, stones, corals, Marquesan “tapa” cloths, and woven coconut “nape” ropes. All rooms of the hotel have a bathroom, as well as air conditioning and a fan, which ensure a comfortable room climate. Most rooms have a balcony. For a nice ambience in many accommodations also provides the sea view. All rooms have a safe, minibar and work desk. There is also a mini fridge and a tea / coffee maker. Various communication and entertainment facilities are provided by the comfortable facilities with an Internet connection, telephone, TV, radio and WiFi (extra charge).

With 3 restaurants on-site, initiate your palate to subtle delicacies from the world… You will be pleasantly surprised to find such variety on such a small island. The more casual dining option, Le Vanille, provides a fabulous setting with tables arranged on an outdoor terrace beneath the trees. Le Vanille, the resort’s main restaurant, is open for breakfast and dinner. The Ohiri Restaurant is the resort’s gourmet and gourmands dining option.
