The Alila Jabal Akhdar resort is located on the approximately 2000 m high Jebel Akhdar, the “Green Mountain”, which is part of the spectacular Hajar Mountains. Wide landscapes and gorges as well as the pleasant coolness form a contrast to the heat of the desert. The city of Nizwa with its numerous shopping opportunities and various sights, such as the famous fort or the market, can be reached after about 75 km. The airport of Muscat is about 175 km away. With a combination of traditional elements and contemporary architecture, the resort blends harmoniously with the nature and beauty of the region.

The property is accessible by 4X4 (4-wheel drives) only. Transfer by 4X4 cars can be arranged on request 24 hours before the arrival date at an additional charge.

Facilities & Activities:

Furnished in contemporary style and with attention to detail, the rooms and suites reflect the charm of the region. The combination of wood and stone bring Omani culture to life. Mountain View Suites (approx. 52 m2) are located on the upper floors of the main building and feature bath or shower, WC, hairdryer; telephone, satellite TV, WLAN (free), comfortable sitting area, air conditioning; balcony with mountain view. Horizon Suites are identical but located on the first floor, Ridge Suites on the second floor. The Jabal Terrace Suites (approx. 104 m2) offer, in addition to the basic facilities of the Mountain Suites, more space, a living area and are located on the top floor with a large terrace and panoramic view. The Loft Suites (approx. 104 m2) have, in addition to the basic equipment, a separate bathroom, a large living area and are built over 2 floors. Bookable for a maximum of 3 adults. The Jabal Villas (approx. 361 m2) have two bedrooms, a large living area, kitchenette, private terrace and pool and offer breathtaking views of the valley. Number of rooms / units 86

Alila Jabal Akhdar offers several dining venues including the Juniper Restaurant and the Rose Lounge. The Juniper Restaurant offers its guests international cuisine, but also traditional Arabic dishes with products from the region. While the guest indulges his palate with the delights from the golden age of Arabic cuisine, the eye is nevertheless more than satiated with the breathtaking view of the rugged mountain landscape. Somewhat lighter fare and drinks are served in the Rose Lounge, which invites guests to relax and enjoy the sunset with its special ambience.
