The 5 star hotel Longitude 131 includes a wide range of individual activities, completely personalised for each guest, from small groups to private touring. Discover the outback by hiking or walking accompanied by the lodge’s naturalist guides or explore unique perspectives of Uluru and Kata Tjuta at the Dawn & Dusk Expeditions. Take a guided walk along the Mala Walk and witness Kantju Gorge at sunset. Rooms & Suites:
Each of the 15 individual elevated tents pays homage to an early Australian pioneer or explorer. The permanent cabins are comfortably equipped, held in nature’s colours and decorated with indigenous artwork. Some cabins are completely remote to have more privacy, some are closer to the main area of the resort. Flowing draped fabrics and white dome roofs create the illusion of camping – yet these rooms are complete with modern luxuries including rain showers, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi and iPads.

Dining:
The Dune House is Longitude’s reception, bar, lounge, library and restaurant. A daily changing Modern Australian menu is served at solid timber tables with rattan lounge chairs. Every other night, guests are whisked off to a secret location to dine alfresco at ‘Table 131’, with a three-course meal followed by a talk about the vast desert starscape.
